Brains!

Posted by Trent Walters at 4:42 AM
Cyberpunk gets closer to reality as researchers have been able to get mammalian neurons to speak with silicon chips. Right now, the chips simply test how well drug delivery is to neurons, but they're working at biological computers.

A new study comparing intellect, done by those with 2000 cc brains* and who think Germans could have won WWII if only they had more bodies because they had the Aryan intellectual superiority, suggests that large-brained Germans and northern climate men are on top, Englishmen fall in the middle, while Frenchmen and those Eastern europeans compose the bottom.

* Although the study is real, this is tongue in cheek. No, I don't know the size of the researchers brains, but as always, it would be useful to find out their methodology of sampling (German universities vs. French back alleys?) and fish for any possible bias. The article does not report methodologies, however. The same researchers found men smarter than women by a margin of five IQ points.
